We're Geeks. We Play Games.

I'll put something more exciting here later.

In the meantime, have a beverage and relax. It could be awhile.

What beverage would I suggest?

  • A nice sangria.
  • An old fashioned.
  • A Long Island Iced Tea.

Though he is best known as the founder and original CEO of Wizards of the Coast and current co-owner of Gen Con, he’s equally proud that he’s still running D&D games in the Chaldea campaign he started in 1981. Some say that his prime stats are Intelligence and Charisma, and that his heart is shaped like a d20. The truth is, he’s just a man with a gift for turning a game into something magical."

Again from Fantasy Flight Games, comes a dice app designed to be used for both Star Wars: X-Wing and the Star Wars: Edge of the Empire Roleplaying Game Beta.  Available on both Apple's app store for and Android's Google Play.  The app includes all the custom dice that are needed for both previously mentioned games, as well as your normal polyhedron dice that we all know and love.  I was a little surprised by the $5.99 price, but the app is well made and seems to work as advertised.  It will have to do for our beta testing needs until the official dice are made available.

From their site: "Make the jump to hyperspace with the Star Wars™ Dice app for your iOS or Android device, an accessory for your favorite FFG Star Wars-themed game! The ultimate accessory for both the X-Wing™ Miniatures Game and the Star Wars Roleplaying Game, this comprehensive application allows you to quickly and conveniently select and roll custom dice, and even includes an assortment of polyhedral dice for all your gaming needs.
